Fat Chocobo Mom

April has been awful. Like, seriously, it’s been cold, and windy, and I’m almost positive we had more snow in April then we did December-March combined. That may or may not be an exaggeration. I’ve been looking at my “On this Day” posts on Facebook every day, as well as old blog posts, and getting more and more annoyed as the weather keeps me inside. It’s Garden season!

Thankfully, we have some nicer weather on the horizon, and I will be able to get out and clean up those garden beds. It’s a mess, as always. But I look forward to it. And the toddler does too. She’s been trapped inside since our last spread of good weather, which may have been in March. I know she’s looking forward to warm days in the sun, outside with chalk and bikes and grass.

I honestly haven’t planned much for my garden this year, outside of cleaning it up. I’d like to finish the area around the pond. Make the front gardens look nice. A few veggies, and maybe a berry bush or two this year. I’d love to make an herb spiral. I guess at some point I’ll have to sit down and plan all that out.
